Recent Updates,
Hey all, it’s been a while since the last update. But we have a halfway decent excuse this time. We just moved into a new flat and we were having “issues” getting internet up.

So… we moved into our new flat at the beginning of the month. We no longer live in Chiswick, but instead live in Southfields. Which probably means nothing to most of our readers, but that’s ok. Basically we are right next to Wimbledon and not too far from the place they play tennis.

The move went well; we had some of our friends from Church help us which was great. We moved all our belongings in one trip with 3 carloads… (when was the last time you helped move anyone and it was only 3 car loads?)

Road trip,
So, Sarah and I recently took a road trip to a town called Bath for a Saturday. It was a like a 2 and a half hour drive one way from London. It is famous for the Roman baths in the middle of the city that were built by the Romans back when the Roman Empire occupied much of England (this was before the time of Christ, so it was a while ago). We got to walk around and see a lot of cool stuff. They closed the doors to the actual Bath house like 5 minutes previous to our arrival, but we got to see other cool stuff around the city anyway.

Another highlight of our day trip was the ancient stone monuments that were on the way to Bath. We saw this really, really old, stone tomb which was once held some ancient kings or something crazy like that. Sarah and I got to go into them and walk around in them. They dated back to around the time of Stonehenge (which was another 30 – 45 minutes drive away). I wanted to see Stonehenge but decided to do it another day because it was getting late and we would have had to make a detour to get there. Anywho, we posted the pictures above.

Work has been busy, seems like the company is doing well. Sarah has started doing worship at the church we go to and I have started helping out with the sound desk. I am still a newbie but I have been learning a lot of neat stuff about amps, compressors, monitors, mixing, etc.

We are looking forward to our visit in November and to seeing friends and family again. I wonder how you all are doing from time to time. It’s been almost a year! Speaking of which, no one came to visit us (besides one of Sarah’s friends)! You all need to get out a little and travel abroad.

Talk to you soon~Corey

  • You know what will happen don't you? There's a good possibility that everyone will schedule a visit at the same time. We'll all get to meet each other. Now that would be an unforgettable experience.

  • Yes it would. Who wants dibs on sleeping in the bathtub?
